Abstract: Rising of pulsations in supersonic underexpanded jet flows past barriers is studied numerically using finite-difference approximation of the Euler equations in cylindrical coordinates. Difference shemes of first, second and third order of accuracy are applied. Flows in the Hartman resonator are closely examined. Primary attention is paid for the effect of reverse flows on self-oscillations. Results of calculation confirm the essential influtnce of reverse flows upon maintemance periodic pulsations.
