The finite element analysis of powder materials compression

Abstract: The model of the bound system of bodies: “a punch-a matrix-a compressed powder body” has been developed on the basis of the finite elements method. The model is based on the idea of “connecting” bodies by a thin “contact” layer of the finite elements.
