Abstract:
Kinetically consistent finite-difference (KCFD) schemes and quasi-gas dynamic equation
system are discussed, both regarded as a model describing viscous gas flows. This model
is based on representation of the one-particle distribution density in form of a Maxwellian,
varying slightly at the distance of a free path. Possibilities of implementation of KCFD
schemes on the architecture of multiprocessor distributed-memory computing systems are
stadied. Results of 2D and 3D spatial calculations of viscous gas flows are presented.
