Abstract:
Dynamic game related to resource management problem with asymmetric players is considered. The resource evolution depends on interchanged usage regimes: exploitation periods where many players extract the common resource and moratorium periods where extraction is prohibited and the resource stock is evolving according to the natural growth rule. Both noncooperative and cooperative players' behaviors are constructed and compared. In order to maintain the sustained resource exploitation the ratio between the lengths of extraction and moratorium periods is applied. To define the value of exploitation horizon the price of anarchy is optimized.
