Abstract: The feasibility of fabricating catalytically active structures based on thermoplastic polylactide, polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) and acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene using 3D printing of sleeves for magnetic stir bars was investigated. It was shown that the correct selection of solvents for thermoplastic modification and reaction performance plays a key role. PETG-based catalytic stir bars demonstrated the best efficiency and recyclability in the azide–alkyne cycloaddition reaction and allowed to synthesize a variety of triazoles from acetylene.

Keywords: additive manufacturing, fused filament fabrication, 3D printing, thermoplastic, azide–alkyne cycloaddition, acetylene.
