Abstract: Phosphitocavitands, which on sulfurization result in all-cis-thiophosphatocavitands, have been obtained by phosphocyclization of octahydroxytetramethyl[1₄] metacyclophane with amides of phosphorous acid, as confirmed by ¹H and ³¹P NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis.
