Abstract: Abnormal broadening of the V^V(O₂·⁻) EPR signal in the V^V/H₂O₂/AcOH system known to generate singlet dioxygen has been observed; this effect suggests that ¹O₂ serves as an effective relaxing agent, broadening the V^V(O₂·⁻) EPR signal.
