Radiation-induced dimerisation of benzene in the presence of anionic nucleophiles

Abstract: The logarithm of the rate of radiation-chemical dimerisation of benzene appears to be a linear function of the enthalpy of ionisation of anionic nucleophiles solubilised with crown ethers.
