Electric probe detection of large cluster ions in spinodal decomposition of the laser-induced labile liquid phase of carbon

Abstract: The electric probe procedure developed here has made it possible to detect for the first time large cluster ions, the products of spinodal decomposition of the laser-induced labile state of the liquid phase of carbon, with a size up to a million atoms and relative content in the mass distribution of the order of ppm.
