Abstract: A one-dimensional model of gaseous detonation waves with heat energy losses was used to explain the narrowing of detonation limits in the presence of small amounts of efficient inhibitors by the example of hydrogen oxidation, and it was found that chemical energy losses due to chain termination should be taken into account along with heat and friction energy losses.
