Design of sulfur heterocycles with sulfur monochloride: synthetic possibilities and prospects

Abstract: Sulfur monochloride is an important reagent in the synthesis of heterocycles with various numbers of sulfur atoms. The classification is proposed for the selective synthesis of highly interesting sulfur heterocyclic systems from acyclic fragments containing C–H, CN, C≡N and C–Cl bonds.
