Synthesis and characterization of terpyridine-type ligand-protected gold-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles

Abstract: The three-step synthesis of new magnetic terpyridine-type ligand-protected gold-coated iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4@Au-L) with an average size of 30nm has been proposed, and their properties have been investigated.
