Reactions of anodic and chemical aromatic substitution

Abstract: Among anodic (electro-oxidative) aromatic substitution reactions there is a specific group of reactions involving direct nucleophilic replacement of hydrogen atom at the aromatic ring, or SNH(An) reactions. These reactions occurring via an intermediate s+ complex represent a versatile type (the hydrogen atom that is easily removed as a proton) of SNH reactions, on the one hand, and are somewhat similar to aromatic electrophilic substitutions, on the other hand.
