Reduction of carbon dioxide with hydrogen on a CuO–ZnO mixed catalyst under supercritical conditions

Abstract: Reduction of CO2 with hydrogen into CO and CH3OH on a conventional CuO–ZnO mixed catalyst of methanol synthesis under supercritical conditions provided comparable selectivities to methanol and CO with a quite good stability of the catalytic activity; no methanation reaction was observed.
