Abstract: Novel heteroleptic cyclometallated 1,2,3-triazol-5-ylidene IrIII complexes with 2-(5-trifluoromethyl-2H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridine or 2-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)pyridine as the ancillary ligands demonstrate photoluminescence in green (520nm) and blue (450–480nm) regions.

Keywords: iridium complexes, N-heterocyclic carbenes, 1,2,3-triazoles, organofluorine compounds, photoluminescence, quantum yield, OLED.
