Synthesis and structure assignment of vanadyl(iv) citrate [(VO)3(C6H5O7)2]·H2O

Abstract: Pseudo-crystals of vanadyl(iv) citrate [(VO)3(C6H5O7)2]·H2O have been obtained after addition of V2O5 to citric acid solution. Composition of the compound has been established by thermal analysis and confirmed by IR, UV-VIS, Raman and ESR spectra.
