On history of Lobachevskii Medal and Lobachevskii Prize

Abstract: Lobachevskii Prize was instituted by Kazan Physical and Mathematical Society in 1895. We describe the history of Lobachevskii Prize awarding, and explain why and how was Lobachevskii Medal instituted.
