Dynamics of a classical particle in a field with a nonstationary potential

Abstract: The behavior of a classical particle overcoming an obstacle in the form of a rectangular well or rectangular barrier with an increasing transverse size is studied. It is shown that the particle accelerates when overcoming the expanding barrier.
