Abstract:
The process of magnetization reversal in Co$_x$(PZT)$_{100-x}$ composites is studied experimentally. At room temperature, the ferromagnetic state in as-prepared samples is found to arise only if the composite contains more than 60 at% of the metal phase. The concentration dependences of the coercive force and remanent magnetization derived from magnetic hysteresis loops are discussed in terms of the random anisotropy model.
