Abstract:
Peculiarities in the structure formation of mesostructure-ordered thermal spray plasma coatings are considered. The role of this structure in ensuring high service parameters of particles under varying mechanical and thermal loading of the surface is demonstrated. An analytic relation connecting the strain of a particle being deposited and its bulk transformation factor with the particle velocity and mechanical characteristics is derived using physical and mathematical simulation of the impact followed by plastic deformation of the particle for a plastic hardenable material.
