Abstract: A finite volume algorithm is developed and applied to compute working process tuning fork sensor. In this paper the results of numerical algorithm application are presented. The linear dependence of an oscillation frequency on density is found. The linear dependence of a quality factor of oscillations on the square root from dynamic viscosity of a fluid is found. The results show good agreement with experimental data and analytical solutions.

Keywords: aeroacoustics, TSM resonators, numerical simulation, finite volume method.
