On the supraluminal group velocity and the transmission of information

Abstract: The calculations are reported indicating that the transmission of information through a medium with the frequency dispersion of the refractive index n(ω), where the group velocity is higher than the speed of light in vacuum, always occurs exactly with the speed of light in vacuum. This result is valid for any functional dependence n(ω).
