Abstract: The initial stage of argon condensation at discharge to vacuum has been studied experimentally. Mass-spectrometry measurements of the spectrum of clusters at outflow from a long pipe with laminar and turbulent flow regimes in it have been carried out. It has been found experimentally that the turbulent flow regime in the pipe suppresses the nucleation of a condensed phase.
