Screening properties of pure water and dilute aqueous solutions

Abstract: Screening properties of water and its diluted solutions are described with a formalism treating the behavior of weakly conducting liquids within the theory of reversible chemical reactions called ionic equilibria. Its modification allows a qualitatively correct explanation of the observed details in the screening properties of dilute aqueous solutions, including the limiting case of pure water.
