Structural universalities in a two-dimensional Yukawa fluid

Abstract: The structural properties of a two-dimensional fluid in a wide range of the screening parameter $\kappa$ are considered by example of a Debye–Hückel (Yukawa) system. The behavior of structural indicators appears universal and is independent of the screening parameter $\kappa$. This property makes it possible, in particular, to easily and noninvasively determine the key parameters of the interparticle interaction from the configuration of particles observed in experiments with complex (dusty) and colloidal plasmas.
