Abstract: The modified rotational invariant method has been used to identify distorted solid-like clusters in disordered media. A new method is proposed to identify these clusters, including bcc crystallites, which can be hardly identified by standard methods. The feature of such clusters is the second shell consisting of six particles, which can be joined with the first shell under thermal distortion, which strongly complicates the identification of such crystallites. However, it has been shown in this work that this problem can be simply solved using second-order, $q_4$ and $q_6$, and third-order, $w_4$ and $w_6$, rotational invariants.
