Abstract:
It is shown for the first time that the superconducting transition in optimally doped Y- and Bi-based high-$T_c$ superconductors is preceded by the Lifshitz topological transition in their electron systems. A intense hole-electron conversion occurring in the system of charge carriers at $T=T_{\text{c}}+({\sim}\,10\,\text{K})$ is a clear cut signature of such transition.
