Abstract: A new approach to studying the influence of intense noise on the sensitivity of bistable systems detecting subthreshold signals is proposed. It is shown that the interference interaction between two identical bistable systems coherently excited by the same above-threshold noise may increase the sensitivity with respect to a subthresold signal by more than two orders of magnitude.
