Abstract: Suppression of coherent radiation arising in collisions of relativistic electrons with a short bunch of relativistic particles is predicted. It is shown that this effect must occur in the low-frequency range of emitted photons if radiation has a not purely dipole character. The mechanism of this effect differs from the mechanism of electron synchrotron radiation in the field of the incident particle bunch.
