Preparation of cluster states of four distant atoms by interference of polarized photons

Abstract: We propose a protocol to generate the cluster states of four $\Lambda$-type three-level atoms trapped in distant cavities by using interference of polarized photons. The protocol use the effects of quantum statistics of indistinguishable photons emitted by the atoms inside optical cavities. This makes the protocol more realizable in experiments.
