Numerical solution of the starting control problem for the Boussinesq – Love model

Abstract: The paper presents numerical studies of the starting control problem using a compromise objective functional. It develops an algorithm to find a numerical solution to the control problem using an adapted projection method for degenerate equations. Computational experiments are set up to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
