About the main natural - technogenic and environmental problems of Kabardino-Balkaria

Abstract: The main ecological problems (natural, technogenic) of Kabardino-Balkaria, including: glaciers, mudflows, landslides, Tyrnyauz Tungsten and Molibdenum Combine tailings dam and Kashkhatau reservoir, garbage dumps, preservation of nature sanctuaries and habitats of passing-by fishes are studied in the article. Need of scientific studying of the specified problems for the purpose of forecasting of their development and development of the advancing precautionary actions for prevention (decrease) of their harmful effects on settlements, objects of economy and surrounding environment is specified.
