Abstract: The chemical composition of a surface drain from the territory of Nalchik during the snow melting period in 2008 was investigated. Comparison of ionic - saline structure of a surface drain from three zones of Nalchik with varying degree of anthropogenous stress is made. It is determined, that the basic pollution with ions of chlorine, sodium, ammonium and nitrate, which represent ecological danger to accepting reservoirs, is brought by drain from the third zone of the city, which suffers the most intensive anthropogenous stress.

Keywords: sewage, surface drain, anthropogenous stress, ionic structure, hydrochemistry, atmospheric precipitation, pollution of environment.
