Current state of numerical current state of the problem of numerical integral evaluation of susceptibility of the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria to dangerous natural processes

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of studying the susceptibility of the territory of the Kabardin-Balkar Republic to dangerous natural processes with the help of geoinfomational methodology. The authors analyzed the data of geoecological monitoring of dangerous processes of 4 main types. These are snow-avalanche, mudflow, landslide and landslide-talus processes. The results of the inventory and certification of the studied region for the manifestation of dangerous processes are presented in the form of a set of maps of different scales, compiled both on the whole territory of the Republic, as a whole, and on selected geosystems. At this stage of research, extensive material on the main dangerous processes has been collected, which allows to present numerical estimates of natural danger, potential and actual, both on the complex of dangerous processes and on individual types.
