The principles of creation of the map of the torrential basin of the river Baksan in digital option

Abstract: Work is devoted to questions of creation of torrential maps by means of GIS-technologies. In this article stage-by-stage creation of torrential map: search, scanning and reduction to the uniform scale of initial special maps, and correlation of the received layers and digitization (vectorization) of the received image is described.
