Development of slope processes and numerical integral estimates of exogenous danger to the territory of national park “Prielbrusye”

Abstract: This work is a part of the complex researches of susceptibility of geosystems of Central Caucasus Mountains to natural hazards of exogenous genesis conducted in the Center of geographical researches of KBSC of RAS. Short characteristics of the selected torrential pools and parameters of the sill events which were actually taking place in the territory of National park «Prielbrusye» are provided. Numerical integral estimates of exogenous danger (sill and avalanches) in general on territories of National park and detailed estimates of the actual torrential danger to settlement Upper Baksan are presented, relying on the geoinformational methodology developed in KBSC of RAS.
