Structural changes at polymorphic $\alpha-\beta$ phase transitions in quartz

Abstract: The paper considers the crystal structure of silicon dioxide, its structural diversity, aspects of the degree of orderdisorder estimation in silica (quartz) systems. The difference in the structural forms of silicon dioxide is due to its crystallochemistry, the conditions of synthesis, and also to the reticular density.
