The method of pseudodifferential operators for the study of a volumetric singular integral equation of an electric field

Abstract: The problem of diffraction electromagnetic waves on a volume body in a free space is considered. The issue is studied by pseudodifferential operators technique. Asymptotic expansion of the operator's symbol is obtained. Ellipticity and Fredholm property with zero index of the operator of the problem are proved.
