Abstract: The paper contains a brief scientific biography of outstanding Soviet geometer Aleksandr Petrovich Norden, the Honoured Science Worker of RSFSR and TASSR, the Lobachevsky medal "For Outstanding Works in Geometry" winner, the first editor-in-chief of the journal "Russian Mathematics (Iz. VUZ)", one of the founders of Kazan Geometric School.
