Characteristic boundary-value problem for a system of first-order partial differential equations with a shift of arguments of the sought-for function

Abstract: For a system of first-order partial differential equations in a form not investigated earlier, we consider a variant of the Goursat problem and prove the existence and uniqueness of the problem.
