Abstract: In terms of shrinking core model we discuss optimization problems, which occur in supercritical fluid extraction of oil from polidisperse packed bed of ground plant material. The optimal way of packing the particles into the extraction vessel is found and a problem of minimization of extraction time is solved.

Keywords: supercritical fluid extraction, shrinking core model, polydisperse, optimization, comparison theorem.
