Abstract: Alternative electrochemical shaping problem statement is suggested. Jump-like current efficiency function is used, defining the rate of the anode border moving for modeling of anode dissolution process. The anode surface is divided into three parts: active dissolution, the absence of dissolution (for small current density) and transient part, in which the current density is equal to the critical value.

Keywords: electrochemical shaping, jump-like current efficiency function, hodograph method.
