Abstract: With the growth of their power supercomputers still become less uniform, less symmetrical. Depending on distance between nodes the message passing latencies may differ more than 10 times. To reduce the respective losses usually the programmer is forced to consider these diversities “by hands”. In the proposed version of dataflow computations model, these and some other problems are resolved automatically, what facilitates programming and enhances portability of programs. In the paper the effect of automatic dynamic adaptation is explained and demonstrated by example of a simple application.

Keywords: Dataflow computations model, non-uniform access, memory wall, asynchronous programming, dynamic adaptation.
