Abstract:
Spectroscopic studies of films have been conducted in the range of 30–1000 nm. Spectral dependence of the absorption and reflection were carried out on films with a thickness from 800 to 1000 Å. Optical studies of obtained chromium films were conducted after exposure to thermal, mechanical effects, as well as after exposure to corrosive environments. The measured spectral characteristics allowed to connect them with the change and the presence in films of various carbide and oxide phases, affecting the optical properties of the films .
