Development of technology of plasma spraying of protective coatings, multipurpose

Abstract: The article presents the main results of researches concerning application of parts of ship's auxiliary engines abrasion persistent and cavitation-resistant plasma coatings own developments. The article also describes the rationale and practical developments for deposition of anti-fouling plasma coatings on the deepest parts of the courts. It is shown that the application of such coatings allows 2-3 times reduce the docking of vessels for purification of products of corrosion and fouling. This dramatically increases the economic efficiency of shipbuilding operation.
