The limiting currents in spherical diode

Abstract: Stationary condition of an electron flow and formation of virtual cathode in spherical diode and triode grid in a relativistic range of accelerating voltages is considered. Dependence of current limit and a radius of virtual cathode formation on voltage and diode geometry with convergent and divergent beam is investigated.
