Abstract: Using the mathematical modeling methods the ionization of barium and sodium vapor process at laser photoexcitation of the resonance lines at wavelengths $\lambda=5.553$ íě and $\lambda=589$ íě, consequently, has been numerically investigated. A free electrons, appearing through the mechanism of associative ionization of atoms, gain an energy in superelastic collisions and cause an electron avalanche ionization environment. The optical “darkening” effect of the medium under competitive conditions of ionizing and quenching collisions of electrons with excited atoms has been numerically obtained.

Keywords: photoplasma, ionization transparency, spontaneous decay, excitation, de-excitation, the absorption coefficient.
