Abstract: This work is devoted to the development of "Optical Designer" – the computer design system. The program includes the physical fundamentals of wave optics. The main task of the designer is to construct an interference pattern from a laser beam passing through various elements. Optical devices such as the Mach-Zehnder interferometer and the "Quantum eraser" are simulated. The program enables to create optical circuits of arbitrary complexity using one "Laser" element and an arbitrary number of other elements (including the "Screen" elements).

Keywords: polarization, modeling, wave optics, Mach-Zehnder interferometer, "quantum eraser".
