Abstract: This article offers the hypothesis that suggests the existence of dark matter and dark energy on the basis of ideas about the possibility of the existence of matter at temperatures below absolute zero and a speed exceeding the speed of light. At the boundaries of the range the matter proceeds to a new quality. This transition has its latent energy. At temperatures below absolute zero the forces of interaction of particles of matter in the atom stop to exist; the familiar form of matter is converted into another, so-called "dark" matter. If the speed of light is exceeded, the particles of matter are moving into the region of existence of the so-called "dark" energy.

Keywords: dark matter, dark energy, velocity of light, matter, absolute zero, energy hump, change in phase.
