Dynamical stability loss of a preloaded cylindrical shell under the non-uniform external pressure

Abstract: The paper researches the dependency of a dynamical critical load value from a preload magnitude considering the various size of the loading area. We have used the nonlinear equations referring Kirchhoff-Love's cinematic model of statics and dynamics flat shells theory in the mixed form to solve the specified problem. The algorithm involves the Bubnov method with higher approximations the Runge-Kutta methods and the method of continuation by parameter. Bubnov method was numerically researched for convergence.
